At least 34 persons, including two soldiers, were killed by bandits on Sunday night in Agban Kagoro, in the Kaura Local Government Area of the Kaduna, the state government said on Tuesday.
The government said seven persons who sustained injuries during the attacks had been receiving medical attention in an undisclosed hospital.
Bandits killed two soldiers as well as 32 civilians while razing down 200 houses in the Southern Kaduna attack.
The state Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who confirmed the incident on Tuesday, said four locations of Tsonje, Agban, Katanga, and Kadarko, all within the Kagoro Chiefdom were attacked on Sunday night.
Aruwan said over 200 houses and 32 shops were burnt during the attack while three vehicles and 17 motorcycles were vandalized.
He added that seven persons sustained injuries during the attacks and were currently receiving medical attention in an undisclosed hospital.
