- Dr. Jill Biden has landed in Kenya. Amid tight security her jet the Executive One Foxtrot touched down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 4:28 pm Friday.
Dr. Jill’s plane touched down at 4:28 pm.
Dr. Biden was accompanied by her granddaughter Naomi. This is her third visit to Kenya and her first as Flotus (First Lady of the United States) America.
Among other things while in Kenya she is expected to discuss the response to drought which has so far affected more than half of the counties in the country.
Dr. Biden was received at the airport by her host Mama Rachel Ruto. EAC Cabinet member Rebecca Miano and US Ambassador Meg Whitman were also in the welcoming entourage.
Dr. Jill Biden was received by flower girls and traditional dancers.
Rebecca Miano had the singular distinction of being in the Jill Biden reception party.
She is expected to be in the country until Sunday.
