During the launch of the Women Enterprise Fund at Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC) on Thursday Dr. Ruto’s female Aide-de-camp Damaris Agnetta was conspicuously present.
Agnetta deputizes Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga from the Kenya Army who is President William Ruto’s new Aide-De-Camp.
Although she does not have the bragging rights for being Kenya’s first female Aide-de-camp Damaris Agnetta was quite an attraction as she stood behind president Ruto.

Kenya’s first-ever female Aide-de-camp was Lieutenant Colonel Rachel Nduta Kamui from the Kenya Airforce during former President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta’s tenure.
She deputized for Lieutenant Colonel Timothy Stelu Lekolol, who was Uhuru’s main Aide-de-camp.

Dr. Ruto has been adept at utilizing the gender factor during and after his campaigns. Some of the women who kept by his side during the electioneering period such as Malindi’s Aisha Jumwa have reaped big.
Contrary to popular belief the president’s Aide-de-camp must be a trusted Officer in whose hands the first line of the president’s security rests. Other roles of the Aide-de-camp are monitoring information flow, managing schedules including transportation, and overseeing the well-being and security of the president.
The position also refers to a subordinate officer attached to a military General.
