The video clip has attracted over 70,000 views.
Although Kenyans have reacted with some calling on the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to get to work and bring the perpetrators to book the video is not Kenyan. The clip shows two high school students in maroon sweaters with ties knotted together and one slapping the other.
Bullying in secondary schools in Kenya is commonplace even if it’s a legal misdemeanor.


Article 53 of the Kenyan constitution states that every child has the right to be protected from abuse and the Basic Education Act 2013 also seeks to protect children from corporal punishment and mental harassment.
The reverse image search of a screenshot of the video by Africa Check reveals that it was filmed at Churchill Boys High School in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The same source has confirmed that the video was first posted in Zimbabwe and not Kenya.
