Kisumu Senator Prof. Tom Ojienda on Saturday came clean to declare that he will continue supporting the Government of Dr. William Samoei Ruto.

Speaking at a function held in Kogola Primary School in Nyakach Sub-county on Saturday, Prof Ojienda said it’s time to accept that Dr. Ruto is the president of the Republic of Kenya and move on.
Also present were some of the 11 MCAs from Kisumu County Assembly who was de-whipped last week for holding consultations with Interior PS Dr. Raymond Omollo.

One of the groups now calling itself “unity for development”, Central Nyakach MCA Vincent Obuya maintained that they will not be cowed into working with the government.
“We cannot avoid working with the national government which has 85 percent of resources. This is the government of the day and we must live with that,” said Vincent Obuya.
Tongues have been waging that the good professor could be the linkman between Azimio dissidents and the government.
Senior Counsel Tom Ojienda was present in two crucial meetings between ODM Party legislators and representatives of the government.
