Longtime Raila Amollo Odinga confidante and city lawyer Silas Chepkeres Jakakimba on Sunday night took a swipe at Winnie Odinga claiming she lacked respect for people who had stood by her father through trying times.

“It is imperative that moving forward Winnie learns to respect people for who they are.” Jakakimba tweeted, adding that much of the respect and honor she reaps from today is a result of concerted effort and sacrifice by Raila allies.
The youthful Jakakimba is one of Mr. Odinga’s longest-serving and most trusted lieutenants.
Although details of the fallout are yet to be disclosed the tweet indicated that Winnie might have used some unpalatable, derogatory words about the city lawyer.

The youngest daughter of the Odingas, Winnie is known to be headstrong and a tomboy who would ride roughshod alongside her father’s security personnel during campaigns. Right now she serves as a member of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).
