Kabando wa Kabando.
The latest to express his anger is former Assistant Minister and Mukurweini MP Kabando wa Kabando. In a tweet last night Kabando labeled the move an act of insanity.
According to the Business Daily report the offices of President William Ruto, his deputy Rigathi Gachagua and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi have been allocated Sh802.2 million to buy motor vehicles in the current financial year.
This is a significant increase from what had been allocated earlier and seriously deviates from the hard economic reality the country is currently facing. The move comes barely days as Kenyans are trying to absorb a bloated government that has scuttled Kenya Kwanza’s promises to institute austerity measures.
President Ruto has been accused by Azimio leaders of rewarding political cronies without paying attention to qualification, merit, or any other professional factors.
