What Gladys Wanga Told President Ruto that Left Kenyans Tickled

Homa Bay County Governor,  Gladys Athieno Nyasuna Wanga today brought the crowd that had gathered to listen to her and other leaders to an uproarious laughter when she told President Ruto to his face that she was and   still is former Prime Minister Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga’s diehard supporter.

The Homabay Governor began by telling Ruto openly that despite what they were doing together today which is development activities, they understand very well that they are in a different political formation with Ruto.

In her speech, Wanga made it clear that they are the people of Raila Odinga but they have chosen to serve the people who are their electorate moving forward.

She has also told Ruto how her county is preparing to lead the way in becoming number one when it comes to the agricultural activities such as growing cotton, edible oils and fishing.

“Tunataka kuwa namba moja kwa mambo ya ukulima ya edible oils, ya samaki na ya cotton. Your excellency mimi sina mengi ya kusema ila kusema ya kwamba ingawaje tuko huku sisi ni watu wa Baba na wewe uko pale wacha tushughulikie hawa wananchi. Na tuendelee mbele, hiyo tu, Your Excellency. Asante sana na Mungu awabariki,” said Governor Gladys Wanga.
