Colour, pomp and joy today engulfed the atmosphere at Ndere Vocational Training Centre in North Gem Ward during the institution’s 54th graduation ceremony which saw 261 learners in various disciplines ranging from carpentry, plumbing, automotive mechanics, Electrical works, beauty therapy, Tailoring, Hairdressing among many others graduate after successful completion of their courses.
In his speech to the graduands, the acting chief officer for Education Dr Nicholas Kut Ochogo who graced the occasion on behalf of Governor James Aggrey Bob Orengo underscored the Nyalore administration’s continued quest to support the various vocational centres across the county through infrastructural development and issuance of bursaries to supplement the government capitation, since they play an integral role of creating self-employment through acquisition of relevant work skills to the graduands.
