A middle-aged man died on Tuesday morning after being hit by a Nairobi-bound train in the Kibos area of Kisumu County.

Terrified locals discovered the dismembered body parts of the unidentified man strewn all over the railway line.

Patrick Otieno, a local resident in the Kibos area, told Citizen Digital the body parts included the head, abdomen, hands, and intestines.

Kisumu Railways police boss Evans Gatembe confirmed the incident saying the unknown man was hit by the 6 a.m. cargo train.

Gatembe said according to eyewitnesses, the deceased appeared drunk and did not move despite the train having hooted severally.
