KPL: Talanta Hand Posta Rangers First Defeat Of The Season

FC Talanta handed Posta Rangers their first defeat of the season in round 7 of the FKF Premier League with a 3-1 victory at Ruaraka grounds on Saturday.

Early in the match, Alfred Tanui scored for FC Talanta before Sunga Alex added another goal. Posta Rangers managed to pull one back just before halftime when Dinken Mwema scored from a free-kick delivered by Titus Achesa.

However, in the 78th minute, Alfred Tanui secured his brace, sealing a 3-1 win for Talanta.

Sofapaka secured a 1-0 victory against Kenya Police, with Jumaan Khalid scoring the only goal in the 35th minute at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos to hand Batoto ba Mungu their first win of the season.

KCB and Ulinzi Stars played to a 1-1 draw at Kasarani Stadium. Ulinzi Stars took the lead in the 86th minute with a goal from Mark Bikokwa, but KCB’s Danson Namasaka equalized in the 91st minute.

On Sunday, more matches are scheduled, including Kariobangi Sharks vs. Muhoroni Youth and a highly anticipated match between Tusker and Gor Mahia, which will be broadcast live on Azam.

AFC Leopards will be looking to register their first win of the campaign against Bandari at Mbaraki.
