Raila Motorcade Blocked in Kitengela, Azimio Chief Forced to Address Enthusiastic Supporters

Spread the love

On his way from Kajiado where he had attended a multi-denominational prayer rally hosted by the Kajiado House of Bishops, Azimio leader Raila Amollo Odinga’s motorcade was blocked by an enthusiastic crowd who demanded he address them in the outskirts of Kitengela town.

The ODM Party leader has lately been subjected to humiliating defections by some of his hitherto close allies, including deputy party chairman Ali Hassan Joho. Others who have shown open rebellion are a number of vital political players in his Nyanza backyard.

But when all is said and done, Raila Amollo Odinga remains the single most influential, spontaneous crowd-pulling politician in Kenya. The crowds simply love Baba and he never disappoints with off-the-cuff verbal attacks aimed at President Ruto, the rising cost of living and his eternal promises of Canaan.
