The Chief Officer for Agriculture, Food Security, Livestock & Blue Economy – Elizabeth Adongo has today officiated a Farmer field Day at Said Obama’s Farm in South East Alego that saw hundreds benefit from technical hands on skills on how milk production can be enhanced through feeding their cows with new forage grass varieties that have high protein levels, drought resilient and are adaptable to pests and diseases.
This was Courtesy of a field day organized by the County Government of Siaya in collaboration with Ripple Effect Kenya and the Alliance of Bioversity International & CIAT through the ‘Grass to Cash’ project
