The County Government of Siaya has procured a morgue freezer, washing and autopsy table, hydraulic lifting mortuary trolley, body transport trolley, post-mortem kits, and autopsy saw to improve autopsy services at the County referral hospital.

This equipment, received by Chief Officer for Governance Mr. Walter Okelo, will ensure that the deceased are treated with the respect they deserve at the morgue.

The new equipment will also enhance the capacity of the hospital to conduct thorough and accurate post-mortem examinations, providing crucial information for legal and medical purposes. This investment reflects the County Government’s commitment to improving healthcare services and upholding the dignity of the deceased and their families.
