“Why I Differed With Raila on NADCO Report” — Martha Karua

NARC Party leader Martha Karua has finally made the much anticipated announcement after differing with Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga on the National Dialogue Committee resolutions.

In a press statement, Karua has tackled the 3 main issues that Azimio wanted to be addressed at the NADCO session but which she says have not be adequately addressed by the report.

The cost of living Karua says has not been addressed by the NADCO report.

On electoral reforms, Karua has also said that the report presented by the NADCO team did not adequately tackle. The same applies to respect for political parties and multi party democracy.

“In conclusion, the NADCO report has nothing to alleviate the suffering of citizens but offers goodies to the leaders. It is a fraud which Kenyans should frown upon and reject. It’s a distracting national smokescreen” the report by Karua said.

The statement by Karua says that, unfortunately, the findings of the report confirm that the committee was formed by the unwilling, composed of the incompetent to do the unnecessary.

She has, however, not given her next course of action after rejecting the report.
