Police have arrested the cab driver who allegedly raped a female passenger on Ruaka bypass last week.
He was arrested yesterday and is in custody at Njathiini police station awaiting to be processed after being positively identified by the victim. Police also recovered this blue pill in his car, and a needle.
They also impounded the vehicle he is said to have been using that day. He allegedly raped the lady and robbed her inside the car in a thicket behind Rubis near the station.
A passers-by who reportedly witnessed the attack before the driver sped away has also recorded a statement. He is the one who took the registration numbers.
He is said to have shaved the dreadlocks he had at the time.
