In a shocking turn of events the CECM for Health in the Siaya County Government Dr. Martin Konyango has lashed out on proponents of hate who have accused him of dumping sewerage effluent onto neighbours land adjacent to what “has been claimed” to be residential property owned by him.
“I object and I want to state that there are a number of falsehoods in the story, the prime one being the fact that I am not the owner of the apartment in question. My Enemies and Haters are dragging my name into this,” Dr. K’Onyango told DalanewsKe.
The CECM pointed out that his detractors are now mapping out a plot to tarnish his reputation because of his outstanding performance both in his official and personal capacities.
Dr. Martin Konyango has lately been involved in the refurbishment of health facilities across the county as well as other philanthropic exercises undertaken using personal initiative and funding.
A whistleblower had claimed in an article published this morning on dalanews.co.ke that the CECM in person or through his agents had declined to repair a burst sewer pipe in the aforementioned property thereby posing a health hazard to the neighbouring community.
Dr. K’Onyango also added: “My lawyer is currently handling this matter and whoever is sponsoring this crusade to tarnish my name will be answerable”.
