Following a tip-off from the public Usenge police Tuesday morning swooped on one of the most wanted fugitives connected to the killing of a police officer in Mahero area of West Alego Ward in Siaya County.
The fugitive who has been masquerading as a fisherman was arrested and is currently in custody at Lwala K’Otieno Police Station. The fugitive, Hastings Omondi Odipo, alias Umar, faces multiple charges including the fatal stabbing of a police officer escorting the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam early last month.
