Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced new fuel prices in the face of international reduction of fuel prices.
In a Report posted on the official EPRA Twitter handle, the authority noted that the new fuel prices will take effect from Monday tomorrow.
According to the report released by EPRA pump prices have decreased with between KES 5 and KES 4.82.
โIn the period under review, the maximum allowed petroleum pump price for Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene decrease by KES 5.00, KES 5.00 and KES 4.82 per litre respectively.โ
In Nairobi, Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene will now retail at KES 207.36, 196.47 & 194.23 effective midnight for the next 30 days.
โIn accordance with Section 101(y) of the Petroleum Act 2019 and Legal Notice No.192 of 2022, @EPRA_Ke has calculated the maximum retail prices of petroleum products, which will be in force from ๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ to ๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐โ, reads the report.
