Owners of AirBnB properties in Kisumu have 21 Days to register their business entities as Kisumu County and the City Management proposes regulations and security measures of these hospitality enterprises.
On Friday last week, notice was issued through a letter done by Mr. Abala Wanga – Kisumu City Manager. Several security concerns have been raised from internal reports and going by what is trending on media with regards to the killings and other forms of crime against humanity committed in these premises where mostly women and young girls are targeted thereby casting a dark shadow on the flourishing esteemed hospitality sector within Kisumu as well as in other parts of the country.
