Police Nab Nigerian National who Killed, Decapitated Woman in Roysambu Airbnb

A man believed to be a Nigerian national has been arrested by police in Nairobi in connection with the heinous murder of a woman in Roysambu over the weekend.

Insider reports indicate that the suspect was apprehended on Monday night at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) while attempting to leave for Abuja, Nigeria.

The middle-aged man will now answer to charges of murder and dismembering the woman in an apartment in Roysambu on Sunday.

Shocking photos have been shared online as detectives unwrapped the dismembered body parts at an Airbnb in Roysambu.

Already two other suspects had been apprehended and taken into custody at Kasarani Police Headquarters for allegedly aiding the Nigerian national.

Detectives are yet to piece together the motive of  the murder of the 25-year-old woman.

Kasarani OCPD Joseph Muriuki explained to the media that they were withholding information until the next of kin were notified about certain aspects of the investigation.

SCRIB Detectives from DCI Headquarters traced the Nigerian by tracking the phone number that had been used to book the rental room on Sunday.

The phone trail from records of the service provider indicated that on the night of the murder, the suspect went to Ruaka before switching off the line.
