Big Up For Party Recruitment As Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro Holds Strategy Meeting with Officials in Kobura Ward

Wakili Fred Odumo Nyingu’ro today held consultative meetings with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party Kobura Ward officials.

The discussions were geared towards laying down strategies to roll out mass grassroot recruitment of new party members in Nyando Constituency.

In the past few months ODM Party leader Raila Amollo Odinga has been traversing the country on a similar mission of recruiting members to ODM Party.

Today’s meeting was purely consultative and laid the groundwork for an earthshaking recruitment drive that will soon sweep throughout Nyando Constituency.

In the meantime, Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro donated KES 100,000 to boost table-banking activities among members of Achievers Self Help Group from Daraja Mbili area of Kisumu West sub-County.

The women group has 120 members and is one of the most stable in Daraja Mbili.

Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro has reiterated his earlier calls to the youth and women groups to register with the relevant government departments so that they can be factored in during allocation of County funds for projects and development.

He also challenged them to be proactive and contribute fully during the process of public participation for County budgeting.
