Charles Waga, a jua-kali artisan aged 26 has been murdered tonight under unclear circumstances by a group of 5 Nigerians.
According to his identification papers the deceased hails from Usenge area of Bondo in Siaya County.
Waga met his death at the hands of the Nigerians at an apartment block called Cona Hype along Naivasha Road, Ngando Ward in Dagoretti South.
Besides washing cars and carpets for a living, Charles Waga was a hardworking, talented musician who was due to be interviewed next week by Radio Citizen presenter Willy M. Tuva over a song he had just released.

According to eyewitness reports Waga was invited by the Nigerians to wash two floor carpets at their apartment in Cona Hype Block.
He had already completed washing the first carpet and was given the second one when unclear events transpired.
Charles Waga fell from the rail of the fifth floor apartment to the ground floor and was found without trousers, crocks (plastic shoes), Marvin and wristband. All these items were recovered in the corridor of the floor from which Waga took the fall.
Surprising twist to Detectives from Lower Kabete Police Station was that Waga’s phone was found charging in the Cona Hype flat occupied by the Nigerians.
Charles Waga was pronounced dead on arrival at the Coptic Hospital and his body has been moved to the City Mortuary.
Police from Lower Kabete raided the block of apartments and all the five Nigerians have been taken into custody.
