Team Nying’uro Right On Time!

Team Fred Odumo Nying’uro was right on time this afternoon as they delivered dozens of bottled to support the funeral of the late Mzee Oketch (kwe-gi-lamo) in Kabongo village in Kisumu County.

The team led by Linda Kadz Kadz was right on time as preparations were underway to give the late Oketch a befitting send-off.

The late Oketch (kwe-gi-lamo) was an uncle to Member of Parliament for Mathare Hon. Anthony Oluoch. During Oluoch’s confrontation with law enforcement agencies last year the name of his uncle was mentioned.

In one incident the Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party through Director of Communications Philip Etale issued an alert.

“Mathare MP, Hon Antony Oluoch, has been whisked away in a vehicle with TZ plates while refuelling at the Shell station near Nakumatt Junction on Ngong Road. Several Subaru cars were spotted around the scene,” the statement read in part.

Mzee Oketch kwe-gi-lamo who was best known for his religious zeal, at the time was quoted by a vernacular radio station offering prayers calling for the protection of his niece.

Mzee was a staunch Christian whose virtue and commitment to mentoring others will remain etched in the memories of many.

Before his demise people will also remember the high esteem with which he held Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro.

Linda Kadz Kadz and the team also passed Wakili’s condolences to the bereaved family.
