During the launch of the Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party Kobura office on Friday (today) Team Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro supplied attendees with bottled mineral water.

Led by the Field Coordinator Madam Linda Kadz Kadz Team Nying’uro donated a total of sixteen dozens of bottled fresh drinking water.

The Kobura ODM Party Chairperson David Rabare and Vice-chair Henry Odoro were at hand to receive Wakili’s donation.

While addressing the gathering Madam Linda Kadz Kadz passed across greetings from incoming Kisumu Senator Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro who is currently out of the country.

“Wakili is determined and committed through consultation with ODM Party to implement practical reforms and foster economic stability among residents of  the larger Kisumu County,” said Madam Linda.

She also said that Wakili had plans in the pipeline to refurbish the existing Kobura party offices into a highly digitalized modern structure.

Meanwhile, the European Champions League draw for the quarter final fixtures was conducted today Friday and makes for some very interesting fixtures. Holders Manchester City will face off with the competition’s record Champions Real Madrid while Barcelona tackles Paris Saint Germain.

German club Borussia Dortmund will face off with Spanish side Atletico Madrid while Premier League leaders Arsenal face off with the current German champions Bayern Munich.

Arsenal last faced Bayern Munich in the competition seven years ago and were completely outclassed and humiliated in what was a 10-2 score line over both home and away legs.

However, the Gunners have been in very good form this season and sit top of the table in England as well as making their first quarter final appearance in 14 years.

Mikel Arteta’s side has also been given an added advantage with the news that Bayern Munich fans will not be allowed to access the Emirates Stadium during the first leg of their quarter finals clash.

This follows a ban by UEFA on Bayern Munich fans after they caused trouble during their round of 16 clash with Italian side Lazio at the Allianz Arena in Germany.

This means that Arsenal can fill the entire Emirates Stadium with their own fans and create a special atmosphere that is very much needed during the big European nights.
