The accident comes only hours following a another one in Voi where 11 students from Kenyatta University died when the bus they were travelling in rammed into a trailer.

Early yesterday 5 people died in yet another accident in Olenguruone while on the same day 12 people were in a road crash on Kuja Bridge in Migori County.

Kenyans have begun to raise concerns owing to the surging number of road crashes, deaths, and injuries in the past few days with several conspiracy theories being advanced.

Meanwhile, police in Nyeri are investigating an incident where a lorry allegedly run over an officer from the Kenya National Highway Authorities.
