Minority Leader in the National Assembly and ODM Party Director of Political Operations James Opiyo Wandayi, today held consultations with Kisumu County Senatorial aspirant Fred Odumo Nying’uro at his Nairobi office.

On top of the agenda in today’s discussion were issues of debate and concern in the national assembly. Currently, debate on the contentious Finance Bill 2023 has taken centre stage and there’s a likelihood the duo delved into the technicalities at length.
Besides that Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro was likely handing in a progress report after touring the seven constituencies of Kisumu to popularize the Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party. Fred Odumo Nying’uro spearheaded the party registration exercise in Kisumu County which went on concurrently with a similar nationwide exercise that began in November last year to April this year.
The countrywide registration exercise was successfully coordinated by the ODM Party Secretariat with the full participation of party leader Raila Amollo Odinga who traversed the width and breadth of the nation urging Kenyans to register as new members.
Within Kisumu County Fred Odumo Nying’uro coordinated the registration exercise in close liaison with sub-County party officials.
Even with the emergence of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party as an alternative in Nyanza, Kisumu County did singularly well and came close to bypassing the projected estimates.
Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro has pioneered numerous development projects, notable among them the “Watoto Wasome na Wakili supplementary scholarship program whose beneficiaries are day scholars in Kisumu County.

He is also associated with free unique medical camps that conduct screening and treatment of some of the more obstinate ailments in the field of optics, nutrition and psychiatry.
