Incoming Kisumu Senator Fred Odumo Nying’uro today donated a bull and a truck full of bottled drinking mineral water during commemoration of the 67th Anniversary of the Church of Christ in Africa (CCA)
The celebrations were marked at the church headquarters in Dala Hera, Migosi Ward of Kisumu Central Constituency.
Wakili Odumo urged churches to pray for the nation and stand strong with the common mwananchi during this hard economic times. On the ongoing onslaught by Gen Z protestors Wakili challenged leaders to maintain open communication lines with the youth to avert a similar crisis in the future.
He took time to share his blueprint for alleviating poverty and moving services closer to the people. The congregants overwhelmingly endorsed Wakili’s proposals and in return assured him of support at the ballot.
The Church of Christ in Africa CCA Hera was begun by Mathews Ajuoga but has recently undergone several leadership crises that have led into the separation of the original unit with a new outfit calling itself Hera Madier.
Speaker after speaker at the commemoration urged unity in families, churches and even the state.
