Incoming Kisumu Senator, Senior Counsel Fred Odumo Nying’uro will today wrap up a week full of engagements.
In the last seven days Odumo has held diverse public engagements including attending the Awasi meeting where a declaration was made by the five clans in the area to support his candidature come 2027.
Odumo also participated in the memorial anniversary of Mama Idda Odinga’s mother in Migori.
He also offered condolences to George Onyango Otieno’s family in Kondiek, Kochogo South, Nyando Constituency with generous donations towards the internment programme.
Wakili eminently contributed to the construction of Lwala PAG Church and interacted with worshipers.
He also took time off to respond to the plight of traders at the Garissa Lodge Shopping Mall at the centre of Kisumu town following an overnight fire disaster which left many families without a source of income.
The indefatigable Fred Odumo Nying’uro then joined Nyakach MP Hon. Aduma and Luo Ker Jaduong Odungi Randa at John Okoro’s burial in Kano Kakola.
As if that was not enough he also attended a Thanksgiving and farewell service for Reverend Joshua Owiti at Ahero St. Peter’s Cathedral.
Wakili wrapped up the last seven days of engagement by holding consultations with the Council of Luo Elders across Kisumu County at Ofafa Hall.
There’s no disputing that committed leadership is defined by actions. The energy Wakili has shown in the last seven days of activity is what makes him a favourite in the race for Kisumu County Senator come 2027.
