Kenya’s Beatrice Chebet has won Kenya another gold in the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. She won gold in 10,000M race.
This is the second gold medal for Kenya and a second gold medal for Chebet after she won another gold in 5,000M race ahead of Faith Kipyegon.
Kenya’s golden girl Beatrice Chebet won her second gold medal as she sprinted home to claim the title after a textbook performance on Monday. She clocked the race in 30:43.25 minutes ahead of Italy’s Nadia Battocletti who came second.
The bronze medal went to Sifa Hassan of the Netherlands just days after she came third in the 5,000m race again. Kenya’s Margaret Kipkemboi and Lilian Kasait finished fourth and fifth respectively. Gudaf Tsegey was the top Ethiopian in 6th place
