Earlier on eleven students sustained minor injuries as a group of Christians picked a fight with a group of Moslems.
The groups are said to have used sticks and stones to attack each other. In the event police officers were summoned by the school administration and after efforts to quell the fighting failed, the school was closed down indefinitely.
According to a police report 11 students were injured during the melee. The police report states that the clash was instigated by purported biased umpiring during a basketball match.
The incident occurred at the auditorium Sunday evening between a Form One and a Form Four student only to boil over into the night and turn religious Monday morning.
The groups then reverted to the use of sticks and stones to attack each other fomenting more chaos.
The school administration further clarified that the fighting was between Sudanese students and Kenyan students.
The outcome was that 11 Sudanese students sustained minor injuries and were rushed to Garden Medical Clinic and have been pronounced to be in stable condition.
