The party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) ratified the appointment of Simba Arati as the new Deputy Party Leader alongside Senator Osotsi and Governor Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir.

Gladys Atieno Wanga was confirmed as Party Chairperson and Professor Peter Anyang Nyong’o Acting Party Leader.

The statement also said that the new appointments aim to ensure effective management and direction for the party as it prepares for the future.

This strategic move underscores the party’s commitment to supporting Odinga’s AU aspirations while maintaining strong leadership within the party.

The new appointments are now officially recognized, and the leaders are ready to take on their roles.

These changes in the ODM party leadership reflect a proactive approach to governance and organization. With the new team in place, the party is poised to face upcoming political challenges and continue advocating for its core values and goals.

As the ODM party moves forward, the leadership will play a crucial role in shaping its strategies and policies, ensuring that it remains a significant force in the political landscape.
