Bloom Surgical Centre in conjunction with Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro will tomorrow Friday 25 October 2024 hold an eye-camp at Pap Onditi in Nyakach Constituency of Kisumu County.
The camp will entail screening and treatment of common optical ailments as well as performing surgical procedures for removal of cataracts.
This is one of the initiatives by the senatorial aspirant who has endeavoured to provide basic quality healthcare as a necessity to all residents of Kisumu County. Ocular infirmities have long been associated with people from the lake region and this initiative now proves that Fred Odumo Nying’uro is always prepared to come through in many ways for the residents of Kisumu County.
Last year Bloom Surgical Centre in conjunction with Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro held a highly successful similar eye-camp in Seme area of Kisumu.
Residents of Nyakach have been urged to turn out in large numbers to make the event a success. Apart from providing glasses, patients with major eyesight defects will be referred for operation.
For the first time Kisumu residents are benefiting from specialist opthalmological services without paying a dime.
