“I’ve been using cheap spectacles bought from market vendors to read but when someone told me about the free eye camp organised by Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro I decided to give it a try,” Nereah said as she exposed her toothless gums in a magnanimous grin.
Nereah was one amongst many who received free specialized opthalmological services organized by Bloom Surgical Centre Hospital in partnership with Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro, the incoming Kisumu Senator.

Muhoroni residents who turned out in their numbers received comprehensive eye screening, general opthalmological consultations, cataract surgery and issuance of eye drops and reading glasses.
“We have a plan; and I hope today has shown our preparedness to tackle real issues, and commitment to uplifting the wellbeing of Kisumu residents. It all begins with good health and health is one of the pillars of my manifesto as Senator Kisumu County come 2027. This is just the beginning, rest assured, we shall be back again.”
Ann Okal, another elated resident who benefited from the free eye camp asked Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro to consider setting up a permanent clinic in Muhoroni dedicated to eye-care.
In other news , Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro made a stopover at the Muhoroni Bodaboda shed where he distributed safety reflector jackets to the riders and had a friendly chit chat. Wakili released funds early this year to construct the shade and his visit was a follow up on the progress and wellbeing of the Bodaboda team.
Shortly thereafter Wakili received a rousing welcome by traders at the Muhoroni market.
All through the excursion his calls for unity and development resonated deeply with the electorate.
His sense of compassion coupled with action, and a clear vision for the future marks out Fred Odumo Nying’uro as the Senator Kisumu County has long been waiting for.
