Wanga Accompanied Ruto to Ghana

President William Ruto left Kenya for Ghana to attend the swearing in ceremony of the incoming Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahana and his deputy, the first female Vice president Jane Naana Apoku.

In President William Ruto’s delegation, we’ve learnt that there was Homabay County Governor Gladys Wanga, Kirinyaga County Governor Ann Waiguru whom Wanga tagged along while sharing the information through her X platform on how their visit to Ghana went down.

Homabay County boss, Governor Gladys Wanga went ahead to congratulate and wish the duo well in their upcoming leadership task just after their inauguration.

“Honored to have joined His Excellency President William Ruto as part of Kenya’s delegation to the swearing-in ceremony of Ghana’s President HE John Dramani Mahama and the country’s first female vice president Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang. Wishing this dynamic duo well as they move Ghana to the next level.” stated Gladys Wanga.

President William Ruto went to Ghana and was also expected to attend the swearing in ceremony as well as promote the mutual relationship that Kenya and Ghana has.

From the press release by the State House Spokesperson, Hussein Mohammed the Head of State also went ahead to campaign for the Kenya’s Candidate for Africa Union Commission Chairmanship position the former Prime minister Raila Amollo Odinga.

The campaign was to be based on the Raila’s Pan African vision that he has for the Continent should he get elected for the position in the upcoming elections to be held in February 2025.
