Adding to her woes, Tess described her husband as excessively stingy and strict with finances, a behavior she hadn’t anticipated. Struggling to cope with these challenges, she eventually decided to leave the relationship.

Heartbroken and emotionally drained, Tess packed her bags and returned home, burdened by pain and regret.

“Tears flowed freely,” she recounted, describing her low spirits and sense of betrayal.

Her story has since drawn mixed reactions online, sparking discussions about the risks of marrying someone met online and the importance of mutual understanding in cross-cultural relationships.
