(Photos) Orengo Administration Unveils Model ECDE Centre in Siala Kaduol Ahead of Feeding Program

The institution located in South Gem Ward of Gem Constituency already has an influx in enrollment as it opened it’s doors a week ago to young learners eager to set in motion their academic journey. Despite neighbouring other public school facilities the three levels of Early Childhood Development Education namely baby group, Pre-primary 1 and Pre-primary 2 already have an enrollment of 97 that is growing by the day.

It’s centrality in location comes as a big relief for both learners and parents who have had to brave the challenge of distance to enroll in ECDE centers within Dhene, Aluor and Kudho Primary schools. The project was wholly undertaken by Siaya County Government and reflects on the critical platform the Orengo administration places on early education as a foundation for growth and development.

The playground equipment at Siala Kaduol ECDE are of the highest safety standards.

The community has hailed the establishment of the center as timely and well thought out.

Siala Kaduol joins the long list of such centers done by the devolved unit to accord the young learners a conducive environment to bud their academic journey and with the rolling out of universal feeding program in all public ECD Centers across Siaya County in the offing, the future is becoming more brighter day by day.

Meanwhile, an X user raised concern online when he posted a picture of a modern ECD facility in Kiambu County against a ramshackle structure purporting to be an ECD centre in Tiaty, Baringo County. Whatever the purpose of the comparison, Siaya County under the stewardship of Governor James Aggrey Bob Orengo continues to reap big the fruits of devolution particularly in areas touching on the development of youth.
