Josephine Adhiambo, a beloved radio comedian formerly with Ramogi FM, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and joy.
Known by her stage names Min Ombugu and Nyakwar Nyongoche, she gained immense popularity through her comedy shows Lak Chogo (The Tooth Is a Bone) and Keth Nyingi Tiger Dendi (Tarnish Your Name and Build Your Body), which were fan favourites between 2007 and 2015.
Her career reached its peak while co-hosting with the late Bon Aggrey Okello, famously known as Wuon Ombugu or Nyakwar Kira. Together, they brought endless humour and life lessons to their audience. However, their duet comedy shows ended after Okello’s untimely death in 2015, marking a significant turning point in Min Ombugu’s career. She struggled to find a co-host who could match their chemistry. Min Ombugu’s death was announced on Sunday, January 19.
