Over the initial days, the medical team has already handled eight cases. These include breast masses, fused fingers, and hernias, with hernia cases being the most numerous.

Dr. Martin K’Onyango, the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Health and Sanitation, who also oversees the entire operation, confirmed that the process started smoothly. All scheduled patients have undergone successful procedures so far.

The operations are divided into two main categories: general surgery and obstetrics and gynecology cases.

The camp is scheduled to conclude its operations on Friday, the 14th. Its primary objective is to assist patients in restoring their health while aligning with the Nyalore Administration’s agenda on healthcare improvement.
