Mama Ngina Girls’ High School in Mombasa has relocated from Kizingo to a 30-acre property in Shanzu next to Shimo la Tewa Boys High School, easing congestion issues.

Funded with KES 200 million from the national government, this move comes more than five years after the project’s initiation.

The vacated Kizingo premises are likely to be repurposed, with suggestions including transforming it into a primary school or a technical vocational education and training institution (TVET).

The new complex located on 30 acres of land includes 21 classrooms, 30 offices, washrooms and four labs.

It will now comfortably accommodate a capacity of 2000 boarding students.
