Police In Rangwe, Homabay County are investigating an incident where a group of church members allegedly beat up a fellow member to death for stealing 8kg of maize and beans worth approximately KES 2,000.
During the burial of Bernard Otieno Anah yesterday mourners were told that their kin had been beaten to death by a group of church members of Rabondo SDA Church led by their pastor.
Meanwhile, members of a church in Sagana, Kirinyagah County were yesterday thrown into disarray when they arrived in church to find that thieves had made off with the musical instruments valued at KES 200,000.
