Johnbull Osibor is from Delta State Nigeria. His home village is Obiariku in the heart of Iboland.

He spent much of his life in Asaba both as a teen and student.

His parents are deeply religious peasant farmers and he also has several brothers and a sister.

Before he left Nigeria to migrate to Kenya under a temporary work permit he had earned the notoriety of flashing money and throwing expensive bashes earning him the title “Oga“, or wealthy businessman.

It is not yet clear what precisely was the nature of the business that earned him fame and notoriety among his peers but Detectives from DCI (Special Crimes Investigation Bureau -SCRIB) are pursuing possible leads to involvement in the trade of human body parts.

While in Kenya, Johnbull Osibor continued with the lavish lifestyle and even procured a national identity card in the names of Omar Mwamkuaju Juma, once his temporary work permit expired.

Johnbull Osibor is the main suspect in the heinous murder of JKUAT student Rita Waeni whose body was dismembered in an Airbnb in Roysambu and her head was thrown in a dam in Kiambaa.

Waeni left her aunt’s home in Syokimau to meet a friend in Roysambu for dinner but never returned home. The 20-year-old student is said to have met her alleged killer on Instagram, and chats showed that she had opted out of the meet-up plans with the man before she was lured into the trap.

Government pathologist Johansen Oduor said the killers were keen on removing traces of DNA from her body. Detectives recovered critical items from the house of the two Nigerian suspects, JohnBull Asibor and William Opia, during the arrest.
