It’s the quick resolve of the disputes that would save the situations.
“If sought am ready to mobilize legal minds to represent the striking doctors in courts for the long standing dispute to be resolved.”
The doctors strike has entered 23rd day and the mess it has caused counties is grevious so the earlier we resolve it the better,” said Orengo adding that in that regards, if approached by the doctors to represent them in courts, he was ready.
Four years ago, had appeared for doctors when they were arrested including their leader Olugah. They were detained for four days and we including the Mutual Kilonzo junior undertook the negotiation between them and National government till a resolution over their dispute was found.
President William Ruto cannot mess up lives of Hustlers by depriving them quality healthcare by failing to respond to the doctor’s disputes.Am saying without contradiction that the plights of doctors must be addressed.
Am on the side of doctors and am ready to assist them
Orengo was reacting to comments made by Kisumu Deputy Governor Mathews Owili who had earlier requested him to help doctors find solution over their disputes.
He at the same time called on the president to resolve Nandi-Kisumu boundary conflicts.
“There is no need for the president to send soldiers to Haiti when Kenyan citizens themselves are not at peace
Orengo added that he does not see constitutional obligation that requires head of state to take solders to Haiti at the expense of Kenyans espercially those who live at the borders.
If you cannot end insecurity in own country how sure are you that you can do that in the Country that has been distanced by Americans and Russians,” said Orengo.
Kisumu Deputy Governor Mathews Owili is however optimistic that a peaceful resolution will be found even if Kericho team did not attend Sondu prayers that had attracted leaders from Kisumu and Siaya.
“In have no doubt that peace will reign in Sondu. Orengo had invited me to Kericho where discussion over boundary was done. We planted a seed and expect it to yield long term peace for we share a boundary and friendship is equally supreme,”Owili said
Otiende regretted that Kericho team failed to honor the fundraiser as that would have provided them a platform to get feedback over the issues.
“We are sorry for Sondu residents for bearing the brunt of chaos caused by boundary disputes. We are sure that peace that surpasses understanding will be realized,” said Otiende.
Otiende said they know where boundary was and how the problem started and we can’t allow it to be sustained.
Speaker George Okode and Nyakach MP Aduma Awuor pray that Kenyans will co-exist peacefully even along boundary lines.
