Ahero Ward Member of County Assembly aspirant Tonny Abullo on Wednesday sweetly shocked patients at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu by clearing their medical bills to the tune of KES 96,000.
Mr. Abullo said he was visiting a relative hospitalised at the facility when he learnt that some patients had not been discharged simply because of failing to settle their hospital bills.
“This sad state leads to overcrowding and spreading of contagious infections,” said Abullo, adding “leaders should walk the talk and as Ahero people we are known for leading from the front.”
The youthful Abullo is enormously popular in Ahero and stands very good chances of being elected in 2027.

If elected Abullo has vowed to work closely with Kisumu County ODM Party leadership in solidifying support for the party in this parts of Nyanza.
Abullo further promised to soon roll out his manifesto which has health, education and economic empowerment as its pillars.
