Kisumu County Senatorial aspirant, Senior Counsel Fred Odumo Nying’uro on Friday morning sent his heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Evans Orwenjo.
Describing the late lawyer as a brilliant and innovative professional, Odumo wished the family of Mzee Orwenjo Umidha fortitude in this trying times.
Odumo called the family to get a brief on the burial arrangements.
“Orwenjo was a lawyer friend and someone in my inner circle,” said Odumo, adding “Only last month we spoke and he wished me well on my senatorial bid. It’s painful loosing such a youthful brilliant person. Very painful.”
Odumo also described Orwenjo as a remarkable person who touched the lives of many people.
ADVERTISEMENTThe shocking news of Evans death was first shared by his friend and namesake Evans Ngon’ga in a Siaya WhatsApp group leaving members stupefied.
The late Evans was a lively person who engaged seamlessly with people of all classes and his death is a big loss to many.
It has so far been established that despite his joyful demeanour Evans Orwenjo has been silently battling cancer to which he sadly succumbed Friday morning.
