United Democratic Alliance UDA Party Secretary-general Cleophas Malala has not resigned as a section of social media intimated.
A letter went viral Tuesday night ostensibly written on UDA Party letterhead and purporting that Malala had resigned. The UDA SG has unequivocally denied the contents of the letter and reaffirmed his resolve to help president Dr William Samoei Ruto to chart the tumultuous waters of contemporary politics.
The UDA Party has been rocked by divisions particularly between the president and his Deputy.
Talk of a pending impeachment of Rigathi Gachagua has made headlines in mainstream media for a while now. Unverified reports indicated that close associates of the DP have been interrogated by National Intelligence Service (NIS) agents.
