The delegation was headed by Migori Governor Ochilo Ayako. Also present at Kang’o Ka-jaramogi was party Secretary-general Edwin Sifuna and Siaya County Governor James Aggrey Bob Orengo.
Others present were Governors Johnson Arthur Sakaja (Nairobi), Gladys Atieno Nyasuna Wanga (Homabay) and Peter Anyang Nyong’o (Kisumu). Also present was Siaya Senator Oburu Oginga and Mama Ida Odinga.
Coming as it does, just on his arrival back into the country from a foreign nation visit, the meeting was poignant with meaning. Just before Raila flew to China in the company of President Dr William Samoei Ruto, the Head of State paid Luo Nyanza a tour of development that was billed as highly successful.
Beleaguered Nairobi Governor, Johnson Sakaja could have been present at Kang’o Ka-jaramogi purely for political cleansing.
