A family in the sprawling Eastleigh area of Nairobi is asking for justice after their kin was shot at point-blank range on Saturday evening by unknown assailant.
Fortunately the incident which occurred in the open street is captured on CCTV cameras.
Pistol held at close range.
The assailant is seen robing Abdirahim of his phone after firing the shot that went through his head, just below the ear. Abdirahim was in the company of a woman believed to be his girlfriend who is left gasping in disbelief and horror.
The family acknowledged that they knew the lady whom Abdirahim was meeting as a waitress in one of the Eastleigh restaurants. The lady was the first to report the incident at the Shauri Moyo Police Station and was soon thereafter followed by the family reporting the demise of their kin.

A postmortem conducted at the City Mortuary on Sunday at the behest of detectives revealed that Abdirahim died due to excessive blood loss following a gunshot wound to the neck.
The deceased has been laid to rest at the Langata Cemetery in Nairobi while his family continues to plead for quick action from the police.
This sad incident comes barely days following another horrendous incident where a family of three was brutally murdered by a suspect who has since been placed under police custody.
The suspect, Hashim Dagane Muhumed, 24, is believed to have killed a mother, her daughter and niece, and later killed a lady in a rented apartment in Lavington.
