He was speaking at a fundraiser organized by Kamuga Welfare Association in aid of an education kitty for needy students in Nyakach West sub-County where he donated KES 30,000.
“Education is an equaliser irrespective of one’s socioeconomic background and the single most important heritage you can give your children. I am a living testimony of the powerful transformation investing in education brings,” said Mr. Nying’uro.
He promised to stand with the needy students from that area through his education scholarship program “Leave No Child Out” that continues to enable youngsters in Kisumu County to achieve their dreams and ambitions in life.
Later in the day Wakili joined the family of the late former Ministry of Interior employee Mark Ochieng who was recently swept away by floods in Awasi.
