“Our people in this region, you must follow Raila’s footprints and mighty networking that has seen ODM Party extend its tentacles to become the largest political party in the country, and possibly in the East African region.

“As party leader Raila made sure that ODM party thrived in all parts of the nation.”

Orengo said no party can match ODM in this country and its footsoldiers are experts that when endorsed for any position will ensure stability of all sectors in development.

Orengo reiterated that ODM party won’t be “swallowed by any other parties citing TNA, DP, KANU, Jubilee that disappeared in thin air during amalgamations and now UDA that is heading the same direction.

“ODM party is still vibrant in Western, Nyanza. Turkana, Kajiado, Cost, Nairobi courtesy of Raila so as leaders in ODM we must support and protect it at all costs ”

Orengo said he is optimistic that Raila will rise up and give pride to Africa in the new position he is set to occupy in the African Union Commission.

Nobody including those eyeing the position has an intriguing political history as that of Raila.

Mbaadi took over party chairmanship from November 21,2013 to November this year.

Speaking while officially handing over the party to Wanga after serving for 10 years Mbadi lauded the former Premier for not only retaining the seat in Homabay but also allowing competent Wanga to carry the mantle.

“After realizing that I could not hold onto the seat anymore since am a CS, my biggest delight is that the position was retained in Homabay.

“Today am performing the official handover to Wanga and expect it the party will grow and continue to prosper.

Mbadi further hailed Raila stating that it was the wisdom of the doyen of Kenya’s politics that saw him and three others join the Kenya Kwanza government.

“I want to assure Kenyans that the government has resources that can drive the country’s economic agenda. I have checked the granary where Kenyans taxes are kept and want to say that there is no government that does not have funds.

“We only need to plan and craft workable strategies that would make us consolidate funds and structure on how funds are managed,” said Mbadi.

“Since I assumed the CS docket, positive things have been realised, and the economy of Kenya is back on it’s feet. That’s the assignment that was given to me by president William Ruto and Raila to do and I will do it diligently,” said Mbaadi.
